Pressrelease:Can you knock on someone’s door and ask for a glass of water? The artist Marianne Bramsen gave it a try. One may call her art project an experiment or an investigation. She has visited people unannounced to see how people receive an uninvited guest. How do people react in such an unexpected situation?  The documentation of her experiment will be displayed in the main public library of Aarhus and in the art space rum46.
On Wednesday, June 4th you can also “come to a meal” with Marianne Bramsen in the home of the Iranian, Akbar, by listening to the local radio station in Aarhus, Channel 2, 88,7mHz between 3:00 p.m.– 3:30 p.m. Akbar will tell us about traditions related to feasts and hospitality which he knows from his own cultural background.
