| Open call Submission for Solidarity UNLIMITED? Liberty, Equality, Fraternity Space of Remarks and Comments. Solidarity UNLIMITED? Is an interdisciplinary art project. Theoretically it is a follow-up on our last year's international project Gæstebud - Feast/Hospitality. With new angles on human relations, we invite a number of international artists, critics, activists and more to place the notion of Liberty, Equality and Fraternity on the agenda in the current social and political life in Denmark. Solidarity UNLIMITED? runs from October 1st until March 2005. Throughout the project rum46 will function as a Space of Remarks and Comments. We invite you to send texts, works, articles, press cuttings, images, videoes, CD´s, radio programmes and more to comment or reflect upon the above mentioned issues. Your submission can be an A4 hardcover file or as a A4 paper (21x29,7cm) maximum. Number of pages, pieces, notes etc. is up to you. The submitted material will be archived and represented in the gallery space rum46. Each week we will present a varied selection of the submitted material. With this part of the project we hope to be able to create a space of free speech. We would like to receive the submitted material starting now until November.12 th . The first material will be used from October 6th. 2004 Solidarity UNLIMITED? Space of Remarks and Comments is a work in progress. You are welcome to submit additional material throughout the project. Apart from Space of Remarks and Comments we have also invited artists to make art projects in public spaces in Århus and we will arrange talks and debates in the premises of rum46. Please feel free to send this invitation to anyone you feel would like to comment. |
